Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Warren, MI is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist with specific school-based experience to provide specialized support to high school students. This contract position is scheduled for the current school year, emphasizing hands-on collaboration within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the educational needs of high school students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and support staff.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Comply with all school policies and documentation requirements.
• Work onsite to foster direct interaction with students and school personnel.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with previous experience specifically in school settings.
• Proficiency in addressing the needs of K-12 students, particularly at the high school level.
• Must have experience working in educational environments; candidates without school-specific OT experience are not eligible.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
• COTA services are not permitted for this role.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week
• Onsite presence required
